Hillel at UCLA hosted its first interfaith Passover Seder Monday, bringing together students and administrators to build connections across campus.
The celebration – jointly hosted by the Interfaith Living Learning Community and Dialogue Across Differences at UCLA – featured readings, Jewish prayers and teaching about Passover traditions.

UCLA’s off-campus meal plan pilot scheme will continue into the spring quarter.
In a Thursday email to residents living in UCLA’s off-campus apartments, UCLA Dining said it would again offer the opportunity to residents to purchase 77 swipes at the cost of a $1,155 up-front payment.
Michael Grunstein, a distinguished professor emeritus of biological chemistry, died Feb. 18. He was 77 years old.
Grunstein – best known for his study of histones, the proteins that DNA is coiled around – first became a faculty member at UCLA in 1975.

UCLA Dining will offer new breakfast and late-night dining options next quarter.
Bruin Café and Epicuria at Ackerman will serve breakfast options starting next quarter, while De Neve dining hall will also offer a pilot program to bring back its late-night dining options, according to an emailed statement from UCLA Dining.
