The abrupt transition from high school to college may leave Bruins reevaluating their study habits.
Bradley Bohall, a third-year biology student, said his habit of last-minute cramming was not sustainable for the rigorous quarter system in college.

UCLA promotes language learning engagement amid decreased national enrollment

Amid a downward trend in collegiate language course enrollments nationally, UCLA language programs and student organizations continue to push for active engagement in language learning.
Language learning enrollment in higher education saw a significant drop in recent years, according to the latest Modern Language Association report released last November.
